HearthHub Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026  •  Last updated: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BlueStreek (“BlueStreek,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the HearthHub mobile application (the “App”). HearthHub is a family scheduling, meal-planning, list-making, and reminder app that is set up and administered by a parent or guardian and used within a single household.

A note for families. HearthHub is designed to be configured and controlled by a parent or guardian (the “Account Administrator”). Children use the App under that adult’s supervision and settings. The Account Administrator decides what family information is entered, who can see it, and when the App’s reminder and screen features are used. Parents can review and delete their family’s data at any time (see Your Rights & Choices).

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

The operator responsible for the App and for personal information collected through it is BlueStreek. You can reach us using the details in the Contact Us section below. Where required by law, BlueStreek acts as the “data controller” for information processed through the App.

3. How We Use Information

4. Permissions & On-Device Screen Features

Because HearthHub gently interrupts and, when you choose, temporarily locks a child’s device, the App asks for certain Android permissions. These features run locally on the device and are controlled by the Account Administrator’s settings. We do not use them to collect the contents of your screen or other apps.

You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in your device’s system settings; some features will stop working if a required permission is removed.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App, under agreements that limit their use of the data:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or the public, or in connection with a business transfer, in each case consistent with this Policy.

6. Children’s Privacy

We take children’s privacy seriously and design the App to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), the EU/UK GDPR (including protections for children), and other applicable children’s privacy laws.

7. Data Retention

We keep household data for as long as your household uses the App or as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual items in the App, export your data (About → Data Backup), or request deletion of your household’s data by contacting us. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. How We Protect Information

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, app-attestation checks, and reputable infrastructure providers, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your family’s data.

9. Your Rights & Choices

10. International Users

The App relies on cloud infrastructure that may process and store data in the United States and other countries. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Material changes affecting information collected from children will not be applied retroactively without any consent required by law.
